0-100 km / h in video
Hyundai recently launched its Alcazar seven-seater SUV on the market. The SUV is based on Hyundai Creta and it competes with cars like Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus in the segment. Hyundai Alcazar is the most feature-rich SUV in the segment, and just like its 5-seater sibling, the Alcazar has also become popular among buyers in a short period of time. Since its launch, we have seen several videos of Hyundai Alcazar online. Here we have such a video where a vlogger is trying to find out how fast the diesel version of the Hyundai Alcazar really is.
The video was uploaded by HEAT 17 to their YouTube channel. In this video, vloggers test 0-100 km / h on the all-new Hyundai Alcazar. For this test, he chooses an empty stretch of road. The road seems wet because it was raining. Vlogger gets into the vehicle and prepares for the launch. The Alcazar seen in the video is a premium Alcazar Signature with a diesel engine. It is powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates 115 hp and 250 Nm of maximum torque.
Vlogger then launches the car from the start line. Hyundai Alcazar leaves the starting line and the speed begins to increase. Vlogger had opted for a straight road without traffic in order to be able to travel 100 km / h without any interruption. Hyundai Alcazar accelerates smoothly and crosses the 100 km / h mark in 13.44 seconds. This is not the best timing from 0 to 100 km / h but it is good for a 7-seater SUV in its segment.
With a longer wheelbase and an added third row seat, the Hyundai Alcazar is heavier than a regular Creta. If Hyundai had offered a larger engine or the same engine in a different condition, it would have hit 0-100 km / h even faster. The diesel engine is normally chosen for its torquey and fuel efficient nature. The Alcazar’s 1.5-liter diesel engine does this job pretty well.
If you are looking for performance, the petrol version might meet your needs. The petrol version of the Hyundai Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that generates 159 Ps and 191 Nm of maximum torque. Both of these engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options. The automatic versions are also equipped with paddle shifters.
Hyundai has made some changes to the exterior of the Alcazar. It now gets a much more mature and premium front grille and the split LED headlights and DRLs look better on Alcazar than on Creta. The SUV is equipped with machine cut alloy rims, all LED tail lights and many other features.
Inside, the Hyundai Alcazar is available in 6 and 7 seater configurations. the 6-seater version receives a center console in the second row that offers cup holders, an armrest and wireless charging for phones. Other features include a large panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats with power adjustments, multifunction steering wheel, beige-colored leather upholstery, two-tone instrument panel, automatic climate control, fully digital instrument panel, control system blind spot detection, a 360 degree camera, reverse parking sensors and camera, cruise control and so on.
