I use this eyebrow oil for growth

I was an 80s baby who started waxing my eyebrows in the late 90s. The style back then was to pluck until you had incredibly thin arches. You can imagine my dismay when bushy brows started making a comeback. How could I undo years of over-feathering? Castor oil came to the rescue, the perfect eyebrow oil for growth.

Derived from the castor plant, castor oil has been used for millennia to treat a wide variety of ailments. The Egyptians use it for eye health. Its North American counterparts know it for its laxative properties. One of the most common uses for the oil is for hair health. The fatty acid-rich oil primes hair follicles and provides a fungus and bacteria-free environment when applied topically. Omega-6 and Vitamin E moisturize and support hair growth.

After watching countless YouTube videos where vloggers swore by the trick, I grabbed myself a bottle of SheaMoisture 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I kept it next to my skink and applied it religiously day and night after cleaning. When choosing an eyebrow oil, make sure there are no filler oils or preservatives listed in the ingredients.

Although the results didn’t happen overnight, I continued my ritual and deliberately applied castor oil week after week. At about eight weeks my mom commented on my bushy eyebrows. She too had been a victim of the 90s and asked me what I did to make my eyebrows look so full. I thought I noticed growth earlier in the castor oil process, around the six week mark, but I didn’t know how to confirm my suspicions. The fact that someone other than me noticed the growth validated my claim.

I am now in my third month of daily castor oil application and couldn’t be happier. My once pronounced arches are now filled in and my real eyebrows are long which helps me achieve a fuller and more dramatic look. I understand that different things work for different people, but I for one swear by the amazing growth properties of castor oil.

Doesn’t castor oil promote hair growth? Maybe you need THIS test.
